  • The most well-known U.S. cemetery for military burial is Arlington National Cemetery (ANC). The U.S. Army, and not the VA, operates the cemetery and handles all funeral and burial requests.
  • The cemetery has its own eligibility guidelines for military burials.
  • To schedule a burial at the cemetery, call the ANC customer service center, 1-877-907-8585. You will be given a case number for tracking purposes before you start your request.
