one week ago, i started to get interested in painting models. For the small investment of about 20 Euros, i got my first 'space marine painting set' with all colors included and got hooked. Now i'm thinking about getting the Deathwatch: Overkill game. I'm very interested in the setting, the painting of the models and the game itself. I read through alot of stuff but even though i tried really hard, no one seems to have the same questions as me.

So lets get to them. While the game itself seems pretty straight forward with a lot of guides/videos out there, the painting of the models still seems weird to me. Of course i read through the beginners guide here on the reddit page. I know about the Warhammer-Painting tips youtube channel and used it already with my marines, but its difficult for me to really pin down which colors i need. I know that different people prefer different colors, but as a beginner i would really love to get a list on every color i need. Is there a list somewhere? I really don't care about variation, i want a relatively 'basic' painting set. Do i really have to invest ~100 Euro just for the colors i need? I don't really want to use non-GW-Colors though, because it would make everything just more complicated.
What do you guys think about the GW-Hobby starter kit? There are some colors, a brush and a cutting-thingy in it. I will not use the brush nor the cutter, but the colors seem great. I just don't really think that there's any fitting color for the tyranids in there.
Alright, so everything basically boils down to 'Do you guys have a list of colors i need to paint everything in deathwatch: overkill?'. Unfortunately there is no GW-Shop in my region, so there's no one i could ask. I'm sorry for my bad english and thank you for all your help in advance.
