Tl Wn821n V2 Windows 10

I was using this dongle for a couple of weeks before updating to Windows 10 and everything was perfectly fine. Upon updating Windows installed their own drivers for it and now I keep getting random intervals of it cutting out and connectivity being horrible.
I tried running the CD that came with the dongle to try and install the drivers that came with it but upon installing them my WiFi just went out completely and it couldn't find any networks, nor did the wireless manager that TP-Link has work properly.
I read somewhere that I should be using the Windows 8.0 64-bit version for now until they release a Windows 10 version, is this true? If not what's the best version of the driver to run? Should I just keep the version that Windows thinks is best, I try updating in device manager but it says that it's up to date.

TP-Link WN821N wifi adapter not working on windows10. Windows comes with a Realtek RTL8192CU driver for the device and the device manager says it is working properly, but, wifi connection to the internet is unstable as I often need to unplug it from the USB port, reset the router and stuff just to be able to open an email for example.
