I have upgraded two E6520s from Windows 7, 64 bit to Windows 10 - both were done from the upgrade icon on the toolbar.

Both work fine but initially have a tendency to exhibit high disk usage but it goes away after a couple of days; I have seen online speculation that this is caused by Windows 10 re-indexing the drives.

Both E6520s have Nvidia NVS 4200M graphics cards, one (which was a clean-ish Windows 7 install) seems to have upgraded with no graphics issues but the other - a much used laptop with a lot of software installed - had a flashing screen problem after the install which was fixed by following the advice here http://techdows.com/2015/08/fix-screen-flashing-issue-in-windows-10.html

After this the second E6520 would boot up but would take 4 minutes to do so and a whole minute of that was a back screen that you can move the cursor around on, the fix for that issue ended up being to disable the Nvidia card in device manager, shut down and restart, re enable the video card, and then install new drivers.
