Tutto ha inizio a New York nel gennaio del 2009. Giocherete nei panni di Lucas Kane, un normale cittadino che si risveglia da un trance improvviso nei bagni di una tavola calda e scopre di aver appena ucciso un uomo. Successivamente gli alternerete il controllo degli ispettori di polizia Carla Valenti e Tyler Miles. Quando giocherete con Lucas il vostro obiettivo sarà quello di non farvi scoprire e di nascondervi, mentre al contrario, quando vestirete i panni dei due detective, dovrete fare di tutto per cercare quanti più possibili indizi sull'accaduto. L'ambiente in cui si svolge il gioco è una New York sommersa dalla neve, invasa da un'ondata di freddo glaciale. Il segreto della vicenda è nascosto dietro a delle antiche profezie Maya, secondo le quali dovevano essere commessi dei sacrifici umani per entrare in contatto con l'altro mondo. Il tutto sta a trovare una bambina prodigio chiamata 'Bambina Indaco' prima che la trovi un altro personaggio, che si fa chiamare 'L'Oracolo', animato da intenti decisamente più pericolosi.

1) Fate partire il gioco, selezionate una lingua, create un profilo dopodichè uscite dal gioco;
2) Prendete i 4 Files presenti nel torrent e copiateli;

4) Incollate i nuovi 4 Files;

  • Almost all wall/ground textures are changed to better and bigger ones. 2K and 4K (2048x2048 // 4096x4096 pixels) textures are used for the big terrains.
  • New atmosphere. The game looks darker, sharper, dirtier and colder.
  • All FMV videos (the 'making of' videos) are remastered for widescreen resolutions.
  • All characters look sharper and more detailed. I’ve made my best to make Carla, Tiffany and Sam look hotter and 'cleaner'
  • All 2D HUDs, icons and characters are changed or improved.
  • All the textures I didn’t replace (the game has some nice textures that suit perfectly in the scenes and there’s no point in replacing them) are supersampled with filters and techniques.
  • New effects and filters. I’m working on new and better fullscreen-filters.

If you are good at the action sequences and that pair of icons just distracts you, you can make them smaller or even erase them (but in such case you'll need to cheat or something to pass the action sequences without knowing where to press)
  • (Optionally) I made a 'Movie Mod', which deletes ALL 2D elements and HUDs in the game. This mod can be used in case you wanna record some gameplays or take screenshots without any element that disturbs you.
