I'm about to start preparing for Exam FM, and I'm trying to figure out what materials might be the best to use. The official syllabus lists a ton of textbooks rather than just one specific one, which is frustrating. From a little Googling I found that there seem to be two popular study manuals people use, ASM and ACTEX.
Which one would people recommend, or is there something else that would be even better? It looks like the 11th edition of ASM is already a few years old, is that still good, or would I be better of using the ACTEX one since that was updated just last month? Are these meant to be used on their own, or do they supplement the textbooks listed on the syllubus and I should get those texts too?
I already passed Exam P, but that was from all the classes in college from my Math/Statistics major, so this is my first time really studying properly for one of these exams.
